The song has depth, it shows that everything isn't how it seems. The world has problems and there isn't a "reason" why. The video correlates well with the song. It shows simple object in our lives such as a t-shirt involve people working hard and strenousouly to produce. In the video you see people who are worried about what they look like, while other people are starving. The video touches on the subject of wants vs. needs. The lyrics have meaning behind them, the artist intended for the song to have a symbolic meaning behind it. We need to understand that there are people who don't have food, are inslaved to produce object of our desires and even a veteren who lost a leg. People need to stop worrying about all the other things and care about love.

The song is telling us there that are bad things in life- and they are there. We can try and help but we can't fully make them go away. "It's how they always been and they intend to stay"
I like how the video shows that things could be worse.
We see a child eating an icky food for the first time...then we see a while who doesn't have food.
We see a thread coming out of a sweater...then we see the people making it. This video and song is expressing how the world isn't perfect, and we can't really explain much about it, but we love it anyway.

I think this song; "Ain't No Reason" is saying there really is no reason people are the way they are. It is how it has always been and it will stay that way for years to come. It showed the differences of people around the world. In the video it showed the woman who had lost her leg and it is hard to know she is fighting for many of us. There was a family eating food and a young boy who didn’t have anything. People know that all of this is happening, but many people do not think about it during their daily lives. The problems around the world are not being fixed because a lot of people learn about the concern, but don’t go through the challenges to fix the issue.

"Ain't No Other Reason" really opens one's eyes to the reality of our world and how we are living in it. The video shows how much we take things for granted and how we don't care about anybody but ourselves and the people who mean most to us. Just like the lyrics say, "I can't explain why we live this way, we do it everyday." Some of the things that are being done are horrible but yet, we don't care to take action. I really enjoyed how at the end of the video, all of the greedy, self-absorbed people felt reality-shock when they saw what was actually happening in the world. The key componet in the song is love- if we love each other and love the world, we can make a change which is why the lyrics state, "Love will come set me free." If we don't take action soon and spread the love, our world will be faces major issues that could lead to the demise of man-kind.

Brett Dennen is singing about how the things we've done end up being for nothing, it get's taken away. How the things we do in life has no reason, but we do it anyway. But the important things in life like love will "set us free" Brett Dennen is saying that some things in life is needed and will help with life problems.

This song has a great meaning, and really opens our eyes. The video shows us how people who have good lives just go about their days without thinking of others. Without thinking of the people that are at war, the kids that are starving to death, and people who have lost almost everything to fight for what we have. This also shows us that things happen all the time, whether they are good or catastrophic and there's no reason behind it. I believe that a meaning for this video was that things happen everyday that have no reasons behind them, but that doesn't mean we can ignore them and not help out.

The song is very deep and has a meaning that represents more than meets the eye. Brett talks about how we live in a very materialistic society, and while we want more and more possessions, people in the rest of the world are struggling to survive everyday. My favorite part of the video was in the end, when the American family is eating a bountiful dinner together and the small African boy sits starving at the end of the table. It was symbolic of the way our society today, we have a surplus while others have none.

The song, "Ain't No Reason" by Breyy Dennen, has a deep meaning. It peers into normal peoples life, people seeming to be living in happyness, but people who do not find real satisfaction in their life and living in same cycle of life, just living to live. The tune, rythem, speed, and the lyrics of the song moves our mind and develops its idea not only in our thoughts but in our hearts.

This is a thought provoking song that is a call to action. Contrary to what Nini said there is a reason that we have this problem but it dosen't have to be that way. In the video it shows pictures of people in houses with more than they need then it gives us the contrast of the 3rd world kids in the house. A perfect example of this is when the family was having a big turkey dinner and there was a young African boy with nothing to eat. Another thing I noticed was how he was trying to get accross the point that we live in this "bubble". We don't realize what other people are going through and thats why this problem persists. An example of this in the video was when the lady pulled out the t-shirt and there was a thread connecting back to indian workers. He is trying to show us how ignorant we are; do we ever really think about what it took to get this shirt that we just bought and why is it okay for us to have more than we need while others starve?

This song and video are very moving. The simple things that we take for granted are getting fought over around the world. Things like food, water, clothing, and medical help. The words dig deep in the sense that they are true. People starve, people die, people go to war; these things are passed over by the majority of the population because they happen all the time. This song points out the flaws of society, but these flaws are things that have always been the same. Since they have always been the same we know nothing else. On a day to day basis nobody comes to think about the animals dieing, people starving, or humans getting mutilated in war. All of these things are shown in the video and all of them are serious concerns. People need to look at the problems around them rather than the problems that hit them in the face. This means that the problems that are yours are much better than the problems that there are somewhere else. People need to use love and faith to push forward a reform. Everyones mind is in the right place, but the right actions are not being taken.

The song “Ain’t No Reason ” is telling us that people did something and there are no reason people did it . The bad things happen but we don’t know or we didn’t think about it. When people are wasting food, did they think about there are a bunch of people starve. This music video let me think about when we waste food there are a bunch of children who starve. When we complain our life, there are a bunch of people who have the harder life than us. If we don’t think about it and we won’t know why we live this way.

Love will come set me free, I do believe. Love will come set me free, I know it will. Love will come set me free. Every event just happens without a reason and it just happen to you. We argue and we fight for something even we don't know why to do that...however, everything won;t be changed and always intend to stay because we do them every day....

I noticed that "Love will come set me free." repeats several times in this song. So I think Brett Dennen considered "love" as the solution of labors' rights, wars, oil spills or problem of unemployment. I am totally agree with that love can solve a lot of questions in the world, but according to Adman Smith's Invisible hand theory, everyone is suppose to be self-interest. Politicians start the war for their own benefit, oil companies ignore the risk of giving a irretrievable to the environment because of their own benefit. So that is why we have laws, they protect us from people who don't have "love".

The song Ain't No Reason is all about the problems in the world. children or people living on a empty stomach, people force to work in factories and children living without a parent are big problems we are facing right now. This song is telling us that we have to wake up and help those that need our help. We shouldnt worry about ourselves because people of facing problems while others are having fun. We shouldn't waste any food because people are doing anything to get their hands on food and also we shouldn't take life for granted.

This song touches on a deep emotional side of me, that often I try not to notice. Starving children, wounded soldiers, factory workers being paid nothing, they are all things that I try not to think about as much as what I look like, what am I going to eat, what do I want next. Everybody is always so concerned about what they want rather than the needs of other people who may have nothing. Brett Dennen says, "Aint no rason we live this way..." That is very true, there is no reason that we should be so much more concerned about ourselves over the essential needs of others. He also says, "Love will come set me free," I think that he is talking about having love for all the people that passed you by and didnt help you out. If you have love for them then you will be set free.

This song is really touching. It is really deep and takes a couple of times watching to completely hear and see everything. I think what it was trying to convey was that when we are worried about what we are wearing, some people don't have enough money to even eat.("people wear their paychecks")Another thing that i saw that really hit me, was that while we are using water wastefully and not stopping to think about all the people who die every minute because of dehidration. Why are things this way? there ain't no reason...we need to love the rest of the world as if they were standing right in front of us. People from different countries (as it is showed in the video) are attached to our clothes that we wear. Unless we do everything we can to help them, it is our fault that they died, it is our responsibility to help them. Why is that when we see a child dying in our backyard we help, but when that child is dying in a different part of the world we don't think twice? Why do we care about looking good? Why do we say the things we do? Why don't we love those who are around us, those who are enslaved to make us clothes, just so that they can eat? I guess there really is no reason.

The song has an incredible message behind it. i watched it several times, in my opinion the artist is trying to display everyday life that people take for granite, and in the end it shows the reality of the real world. It shows how people need to open their eyes and realized how blessed they are.

In this song, it portrays two types of people, those who take daily life needs for granted, and those who don't. The people who take things for granted have to realize that there are other people in the world. We have to stop being self-indulgent and instead of striving for what we want, striving for what we and others need. I believe the song is trying to say that there are those with everythihg and those with nothing, and the world will always be that way. There isn't a concrete reason that the world is this way. It's trying to say that if we can stop being so self-interested and try to love and understand each other, our race could be better as a whole.

Even though it does show a lot of depth and meaning through the opposite ends of wealth and how some people are looking in the mirror while others are starving, the song says that there is not a reason that things are that way. Of course there's a reason. There is always a reason for everything. He's saying that people just go through life because that's how they do it every day. But there has to be a beginning to it, so there is a reason. Maybe it is because people are self interested and if the people in Africa are starving and they pretend they don't know because they're so far away, it won't matter. Everything anybody does always has a reason to it.

After I heard this song, I felt sad and powerless. Different people have different lives. While some can wear a name brand, someone needs to wear tattered clothes; someone dances with their friends every week, while someone even may be crippled at birth; Someone may be picky and complain about the food in front of them, while someone even doesn’t have enough food. Why are you the lucky one? Why he is the unlucky one? Those questions can’t be answered. It is just like the song showed. The feeling of being powerless is always around me when I see those unlucky ones. As one of the fortunate ones, I can do the best I can to help, but it is only so much.

I agree with brett that there are people in the world that are living with so much things that they really dont need, including myself, those things we dont need could help a hungry kid in Africa, or a poor family in India. When will we start thinking about the others and stop thinking in us so much. Maybe the results one person does is insignificant, but if all the people just think a little bit more about stoping poverty and hunger, the case would be a less severe than it is now.
