When I think about the word healthy, I think about love. Love helps one’s spiritual health and may even help the person’s physical health. The next word I associate with love is sex. There have been many discussions on the role of sex in promoting people physical health. Some argue that sex is worth the effect of jogging a mile, while other say sex hardly helps one’s health. I plan to conduct a research on the roles love and sex play in improving a person’s mental and physical health.

Is there a problem with large food companies? Does the vastness of their company begin to sway away from the products healthiness and lean toward making money? After all, the food industry is also a business, and a business wants to make money, no, has to make money in order to survive in todays economy.

"all men are created equal" - US Constitution Shouldn't the necessities for life be equal then to all people? Why is it then that people cannot breath clean air easily, eat food cheaply, or live freely from the reigns of others?

Exercise is healthy. Running is exercise. Running is healthy, but are running shoes necessary? Do high priced tennis shoes, from big name manufacturers, actually improve foot strike patterns or do these shoes increase the risk of plantar fasciitis? Barefoot running has created a new stir among athletes to improve leg biomechanics without high priced shoes.

Health. Balance. And then life and death. To be healthy, we eat food that is well-balanced and nutritious. To balance the world, we have some people newly born and the other half finally died. In the word “Balance”, there are lots of numerous meanings contained. People eat food as various as they can to balance the nourishment for their body; not all the food has the ability of neutralization. In the state of each people having different preferences of food, the fact that food companies hardly satisfy individuals’ inclination is perfectly reasonable. Therefore, those companies produce new food products that can generally ingratiate with people’s preference and strike the balance of people’s life regardless of the method of processing them.

Gymnast, teeter-totters, tightropes, work and school. All of these activities require balance. Everyday balance affects us without ever realizing. When we walk, stand or even sit down. However there is one form of balancing that some people think too much or too less about and that is our diet.

Healthy! A clean place, mopped, swept, bathrooms washed and all the objects that you use daily, is what first comes to my mind when I hear the word healthy. This prevents you to of having any type of disease. As well, being hygienic with yourself in all aspects, brushing your teeth and taking a shower all days are just a few examples.

The first thing comes to my mind when I think of healthy is the sky. The sky represents hope and the pure blue brings me a feeling of freedom. I plan to write on this topic where I will make a contact with the freedom of a person including a description of my view on ‘individual vs. society’. Also, another element to write about is how a person can be influenced mentally on his health. I want to write about that, to what extent, can mental power influenced a person’s health.

I will be writing about how a healthy person equals a happy person. It's proven that by exercising people in return get endorphins and it really helps relieve stress. Having a healthy body can be much more attractive, therefore it helps raise self confidence. Not only can healthy people enjoy their life more, but they can actually experience life to the fullest. All of these contributions lead to a happier person.

I want to write about the equation healthy = sexy. On my journey into world of food, I wanted to explore whether eating healthy always guarantee someone a beautiful body. Many people eat healthy all their lives but their body does not show this while many good looking people eat unhealthy foods and still look amazing. Why is this? This is what I want to find out why do such ironic eating outcomes occur.

Muhammad Ali once said, "A man who views the world at fifty the same as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life." Health to me is about living and not just living to live, but living to learn. We must grow mentally in life in order to understand the world around us. If only think close-mindedly and we don't go out and experience new things, we won't really be living. We are mearly going through the same motions over and over again. So as we live our lives, lets take each day one at time and try to learn something new every day.

When I wrote down the words that remind me of healthy, one of the words was “friends”. Friends are in all aspects of my life, including studying, eating and even sleeping. After spending so much time with friends, I realized an interesting thing—the way I judge my friends is the way I judge myself. I agree with what we discussed in class about the meaning of “healthy”, that it means to try your best to stay healthy. However, since everyone has different result when they are trying their best, I consider that the word “healthy” has various definitions for different people. Friends are one of the most influential facts that are involved when we form our conception. Partially, our personality is the result of absorbing elements from our friends’ characters. From the perspective of healthiness, our standards of “physically healthy” are changing as our brains react to the images and information that we received from our friends. In my essay, I will give one example. Besides physical healthiness, our mental healthiness is also affected by our friends as well. However, even though our friends give us such powerful influences, it is still us, our brains, our minds that are making the changes. After all, we decide who can be our friends and how we let them influences us. These three thoughts lead me to conclude that it is us who are making the decisions of being healthy or unhealthy. Just as what is said at the end of the movie “Foof.Inc”: Everyone has a right to healthy food.

Healthy means nutritious, and from nutrients comes benefits to the body. However, the body is not the only thing benefitting from healthy foods. Some food companies and vendors are switching to a more health-based approach to their foods, giving their customers power and energy, while making business off of it.
